If your device uses a SIM card or an eSIM, activation is fast and easy.

ACTIVATE YOUR DEVICE WITH A UScellular SIM CARD

IF YOU HAVE A NEW UScellular LINE AND A NEW DEVICE:

Confirm your SIM card is in your device.
Turn on your device.
Wait 5 minutes for activation to complete.

If service is not activated after 5 minutes, connect to WiFi and visit uscellular.com/deviceactivation.

ALL OTHER DEVICES WITH A SIM CARD:

Turn on your device & connect to WiFi.
Go to uscellular.com/deviceactivation and follow the two-step process for activation.

If it’s not right for you, let us know within 15 days and you can return or exchange your device. You’ll only pay for the service used plus a restocking fee. You’ll get a refund on any activation fees and we won’t charge any early termination fees. Learn more about our 15-Day Excellence Guarantee.

If so, you must complete the activation process within 20 days of purchase. After that time period, we will automatically activate your device if you are a new customer. If you’re an existing customer, we will automatically disconnect your old device and activate your new one after that time.
